Biden has to be the King of Fools.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Vice President Biden on Sunday issued his second apology of the weekend for remarks that offended allies that the U.S. needs in the fight to destroy the Islamic State.
Biden apologized by phone Sunday to Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, saying he never meant to imply that his country was supporting Al Qaeda fighters in Syria. Al Nahyan is also the deputy supreme commander of the United Arab Emirates’ armed forces.
Yes, Sarah Palin as VP would have been much better. She didn't even know what a VP does.
He's not done yet ...... he also insulted The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Thing is -- Biden gives us a window into what TeamObama really thinks. Don't think for a second that our "partners" don't understand that.
BIDEN CALLS UAE PRINCE TO CLARIFY REMARKS ON SYRIA - Bloomberg News
The White House said Biden clarified his remarks and recognized the UAE's "strong steps" to counter extremists and participation in U.S.-led airstrikes against Islamic State militants. The White House statement said Biden's remarks regarding the early stages of the Syrian civil war "were not meant to imply that the UAE had facilitated or supported" al-Qaida, the Islamic State group or other extremists in Syria.
The UAE and Saudi Arabia are BOTH flying with the USA and dropping bombs on ISIS - the USA is on it's knees, begging Turkey to join in the "not war", with "no boots". Sounds like a great way to keep the Alliance strong - what will Obama do when the Arabs dump him for Amateur actions and his secret talks with Iran and Syria to form a new "anti-Sunni" alliance? What a mess.
Does anyone have a complete count on how many times TeamObama has "clarified" a statement this week?
The reality is that Sunni regimes of UAE and Saudi Arabia has always been funneling to Sunni insurgents.
Lets not forget that most of 9/11 hijackers were Saudi citizens and that Bin Laden comes from a prominent Saudi Arabian family.
OK ...... so, what's your best guess about why TeamObama is begging the Arab Nations (like the Terrorist supporting KSA) to "come fly with me"? Why do you suppose that the V Prez is falling all over himself to "clarify" his comments?
You should be calling, emailing, and yelling to the heavens for TeamO to publicly ditch the Sunni Nations
and announce a "new" Partnership with the Butcher of Damascus and the "Death to America" crowd that wants Nukes. I'm all for 'transparency' - it will be interesting to see how all this shakes down.
They we will see some "reality", circa 2014.
If it was up to me I would leave middle east to people living there and let them sort it all out by themselves.
We are bent on sticking fingers between the rock and the hard place and no painful lesson seems to be able to persuade us to act in a different manner.
