Indeed. One party rule. No checks and balances. With is phone, and his pen, he can write executive orders with no opposition until the cows come home.

Wonder if she's aware how much her little fund raising dinner costs LA in police overtime and traffic congestion.

They should pay the man to stay in NYC.

Well said. Celebrities are given a platform to spout their views and opinions that normal people could only dream of. In addition, they live in a bubble where nobody dares to challenge their opinions and the same ideas are bounced back and forth in this Liberal echo chamber.

Many impressionable, often young and naive, people take the word of their favorite celebrities at face value. They give their opinions greater weight and often any valid criticism of these celebs' viewpoints are outright dismissed. Sarah Silverman just posted a crude video about the gender wage gap, which has been disproven countless times by a wide range of sources including CBS and the Huffington Post. Regardless, many blind fans in the comments on that video were praising her for tackling this issue. Lots of commenters pointed out how this wage gap is calculated and how its an outright lie, but those well-researched and sourced comments were attacked by her fans because she's famous and her opinions are apparently more valid than those who actually have facts and statistics to back up their stance.

Who cares what Glyneth Paltrow thinks? Her beliefs are not exactly exactly a red hot topic here, and the same old spew about Hollywood liberals is so old it grew a beard and went to sleep under a tree.
You are right, except that large segments of society have canonized Hollywood players.

And John Stossell said it best: If women can be hired making less than men, then what company in their right mind would employ men?"

what a retard. Obama has done NOTHING!

Why?! Again, what the hell has this idiot done to deserve any kind of praise and worship?

Why does she not want everyone to know, her real name is Paltrowicz and she is Jewish, and born with a golden spoon in her mouth. Nor that she never attended public education, but attended a Baptist prep school(Crossroads) as a Jewish student.
Has she explained her kids names to the public? Son: Moses, yes Moses as in the Hebrew Moses and a daughter named Apple as in the Garden of Eden.

The saying goes, money likes money and so does power.

The top priority of any state or national politician is fundraising for themselves and their party. Celebrities and sports figures are tools.

The Founders specifically and purposefully gave the Presidency limited powers. The reason is clear: Too much power becomes a dictatorship, and that is what we are beginning to see happen.

The Constitution defines the power of each branch, and they are separated powers for a reason. Anyone who doesn't understand this needs to take a course on the Constitution and American Government. Hillsdale College has some excellent free online courses.

Shea a twit. Many of these stupid Hollywood types live in a bubble. This is the same elitist who thinks she has it so hard as a "working mom". An uber rich Hollywood liberal has no idea, and should never claim she's got it as tough as normal working moms.
