With the younger generations, being more connected than ever to the information highway, the media in print and TV-land can no longer keep a close watch to the information that is exposed to the public.

The older generations, still rely on print and TV-land for all their political and world updates.

As more and more can get any information they wish at the tip of their fingers, the older they get, they will soon turn to politics as they sit and wonder what the hell is going on with the world today.

A lot of people are becoming effected by world events and political power. The internet is where the unfiltered truth can be found.

Is this the reason for the shift away from Progressive one world order politics in America?

I mean look... The incumbent progressives in one party are being shoved out of the running in primary after primary and then talk is, sidelining the other parties progressive in the general elections, this time around.

The problem is getting the younger generation to be interested in news and whats going on around them. The access to information is there, but the interest in accessing and understanding it isn't.

As the father to some of the 'younger generation', I agree 100%.

The larger problem is that they are exposed to information in college -- and to a lesser extent, high school -- that is not necessarily accurate, and often, they take it as gospel.

If there's one message from me that I hope my kids allow to sink in, it's "don't EVER trust ANY politician".

I think that young adults can easily be brainwashed, and that is what the dems are counting on. Now, the GOP would use the same tactics, but different ways, different issues. What we need is for the younger generation to stand up and fight for something worth fighting for. If you look at gay marriage, civil rights, illegal immigration, the washington Redskins, etc... all of these issues are hot button political issues. The common denominator is that the victims are being represented by democrats who have NO REAL interest in the victims themselves. They have NOTHING in common with the people that they claim to represent. Their only concern is that they win their votes. As long as we have ignorant voters then this problem will persist.

What conservative trend? You guys seem to think that conservatism is on the rise when there are too many signs pointing against that. Sure, you guys might pick up a few seats in the Senate, and the House has been gerrymandered because of the 2010 elections, so the House doesn't properly represent anything. The control of the Senate will be short lived for the Republicans because they have much more to lose in 2016 when the next Democrat wins the presidential race.

Republicans do better in elections when less people show up to vote.

Then why are so many republican governors in close races if there is a "Conservative trend?"

You obviously didn't read your own link.

"Most unmarried Millennials (69%) say they would like to marry, but many, especially those with lower levels of income and education, lack what they deem to be a necessary prerequisite—a solid economic foundation."

Millennials in Adulthood | Pew Research Center

The unattached and unaffiliated Millennial is putting off marriage and all the reasons one becomes a conservative because the economy sucks.

This will change.

When now single women and men marry and find that the money taken from their checks to support a huge self-serving bureaucracy could have been better spent on their own children, they'll stop voting for Democrats.
