Given that its calling something a tax vs a cost.....its ot really much of a lie there. Stuff like this is done all the time. Republicans have been pretty blatent about ti as well with stuff.

No, many of the Democrat base did not, and still do not know what the law did. Jonathan Gruber had it right to a certain extent.
The man came out and said they were dishonest about it with the intent of deceiving "stupid" voters to get a huge law passed that people wouldn't have supported without the lies. That should never be accepted in a society where the government is supposed act with the consent of the governed - from any party. The fact that people aren't bothered by that shows complete apathy to the behavior of our government which is a dangerous situation for a society valuing freedom and fair elections. That's the attitude of a monarchy that lies to the little people because they're too stupid to know what's good for them - but in this case, people chuckle and go along with it. The fact that they are bold enough to even say it shows their contempt and disrespect for the citizens, voters and the political process in this country.
Well, they basically scr_wed the American public so why act like they have a modicum of respect now?
This entire sordid crime perpetrated on the people who created the greatest and best country the world has ever seen rises to the level of the arrogance, hubris and complete insensitivity displayed by the French nobility, just prior to losing their heads.

I am not at all surprised. She is a demonstrated liar many times over. Her dishonesty is only matched by her arrogance. Hmmm sounds a lot like Obama and Reid.
I understand how Gruber insulted American voters as being dumb -- but I don't get how he and others are associating that with Obamacare getting passed -- it wasn't voted on by the American people -- it was rammed down our throats by a one party vote in Congress. Not one republican voted for it, and the majority of Americans were against it. So why are the American voters called out by him? It's the Dems who were stunningly stupid.
I see this statement everywhere I go and hear it on every talk show and it simply isn't true!
