Just to remind you all, the reason Obama got a second term in 2012 was Hurricane Sandy was timed PERFECTLY to the Obama-Romney election!
All he had to do was put all efforts into Hurricane Sandy cleanup for the incentive of a 4-year free pass to being re-elected.
But now, Obama won't score political points doing anything for America because no more elections for him running in and 2 years till its time to ralley another Democrat. It won't help his political points since he's already in his second term and the damaged area is NY State which there's no reason to even care if they all died because they vote Democrat anyway as a state so who cares? If you don't care about America, lol why serve the country?
Obama is a political game president. It's not about putting America first, it's about "what will this do for my wallet and my political base...the political base in NY is a given free spot cuz it goes Democrat duh! So Obama has no problem whatsoever leaving Buffalo 6 feet of snow unplowed for weeks, letting elderly die stranded ...cuz america isn't his #1, his political game is #1
Sandy caused $50B in damage along the east coast and you are comparing that to a snow storm? The governor declared a state of emergency, what exactly do you expect from Obama?

OP, perhaps you should learn how the government works if you're going to live in this country. The President doesn't make these decisions. The state has to request for assistance.
Buffalo is used to big storms. Not necessarily this big, but they are well prepared for snow storms.
