"First They Came for the Jews"
By Pastor Niemoller

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.
Night By Elie Wiesel Webquest: Introduction

People are getting it, finally. The emotion I have seen from white people, btw, has been wonderful to witness. Thanks to social media, this will no doubt, continue to spread and grow.

Maybe appropriate for those whose businesses and other property where looted and burned when they came. Similar to when brown shirst roamed Germany and did the same.

The fact that the looting is wrong doesn't make the underlying root cause of the looting right.

I love to see the huge demonstrations.
(and I take Part)

But I'm not sure what effect they will have on changing our society to a more just one.

I think the #BlackLivesMatter slogan had a lot to do with everyone rallying around Michael Brown and Eric Garner's horrific deaths. Because you didn't see such outrage after Fullerton CA cops got away with this: Uniformed killers walk free after beating and tasing unarmed homeless man to death | Police State USA

Emotion from white people? You mean a few very misguided squeaky wheels?
