I am not claiming that he created the jobs, just that he did not destroy the economy, which is dishonestly claimed here daily. And was implied in the post in question.

Who said he destroyed the economy?

I don't trust ABC News, and I certainly don't trust their sources (AP and the Labor Dept).

Just wondering, what are his god awful policies that have hurt the economy? Because while the recovery has been slow, it's typical of a banking crisis this size. In fact, it's better than most severe banking crises. According to work done by Carmen Reinhart and Kenneth Rogoff, the average severe banking crisis brings a country's unemployment up 7% and lasts for 4.8 years (as in unemployment doesn't decrease for 4.8 years). This recession has been on the better end of both those numbers.

You can read the paper from the two authors I mentioned here. Pretty interesting data, and it's not overly long.

"Stunning improvement?" By whose measure?

Everything is just rainbows and unicorns, I guess. Right?

Haha what source would you trust then, if you don't trust the Labor Dept on labor statistics? They've reported abysmal labor numbers in the past, why would they all of the sudden start lying and saying we're doing great if we're not?

Countering with facts....

They (the Obamabots) have their "facts;" we have ours. Theirs are worthless, because they ignore the most important facts.

Where exactly are your facts? I didn't vote for Obama and am not a big supporter by any means, but I don't see what makes these numbers questionable? I'd be willing to look at your facts and change my mind if they seemed right, but I'm not sure what these facts that you speak of are.

A month after the Democrats were massacred in the midterm elections due to America's disgust with his policies and a week after the worst start to the holiday shopping season since the financial meltdown 6 years ago, Obama appears at a press conference today taking full credit for a jobs recovery. A recovery that is in name only if you analyze the jobs report.

Obama is a real piece of work.
