A lot of talk about how black men are being targeted by police. How come there is so little talk about what caused them to be targeted or dealt with heighten anxiety?
The reality is that black men as a group commit more violent crimes than say Korean men and how about having a conversation about that. How about conversation about single mother households, unwed mothers, lack of focus on education, etc. that lead to higher rate of crimes, thus resulting in the general public, including police officers more weary when dealing with that certain group.
I can guarantee you that IF red heads with blue eyes are committing violent crimes at a rate significantly higher than the general population, they would be treated the same as black men by police.
Would I want to simply get along with a society that decided I should be stopped and frisked simply because of my skin color? No, I wouldn't.
That is what is happening in NYC.
Yes, that's should be a part of the conversation, but not the entire conversation. The other topics should be discussed as well, and not just by the mere 5%. And, most of these 5% are attacked and being called racist or uncle Tom.
The fact that murder is the most common death cause for young black men tells of a culture of violence. But then school shooting is also a part of the violence in overall culture. Both are much more violent than mob in the 20's.
I feel that a large percent of the population is afraid to have the conversation about the other topic due to fear of being labeled as racist, losing their jobs, etc. as described by Dr. Carson as similar to the Nazi era.
Leftists are unable to link cause and effect. It's part of their cognitive disorder that makes them leftists.
I don't agree with blanket statement like this.
