Hehe-I guess that old stereotype is based in fact. I suppose that's why so many Cops are unable to restrain their unarmed suspects without killing them.

Wow. More obese than cashiers, truck drivers, food workers and nurses? Well it is a high stress job and there is a lot of sitting time in their cruisers.

This study was done using BMI so it's probably a bit misleading.

Apparently, they didn't visit Walmart.

So that sterotype is true? The rest of them could be true as well. This will be interesting as the media starts to investigate sterotypes and finds out...

I do not recall the last time I saw an overweight police officer, let alone obese officer. Then again, I am not looking.
Each municipality establishes height and weight minimums and caps.

Security Guarding is a broad profession. Many sit on chairs or in cars during their entire shifts.

Maybe I am a tad off today. I was unable to locate the basis of this claim in the American Journal archives.

BMI misses the body mass, muscle or fat.

Waist size is a better indicator.
