So the administration argued that these people should be detained for security reasons and to dissuade others from joining them.
Judge said "no."

"A federal judge on Friday temporarily blocked an Obama administration policy to detain Central American mothers and children who say they are fleeing violence in their home countries.

The mothers argued that a “No Release Policy” adopted by the Department of Homeland Security kept them locked up, as Boasberg put it, “to send a message that such immigrants, coming en masse, are unwelcome.”
Boasberg questioned the government’s reasoning, saying that the refuge-seekers “are entitled to the protection of the Due Process Clause, especially when it comes to deprivations of liberty.”"

I have to say that I was surprised by this. I was under the impression that all of these people were allowed to wander unfettered throughout the country.
I was also under the impression that the President had invited them here - you know, him ignoring our laws and all that.

What an odd twist this presents.

It's only a penalty until it's convenient to argue it's a tax with this administration.

Well see all depending on the news channel people listen to! They twist and shout and people eat it ALL right or wrong --as long as it is anti Obama
