Foreign cash pours into Clinton family foundation

Who really runs the America government?

WASHINGTON — More than 40 percent of the top donors to the Clinton family foundation are based in foreign countries, which could lead to conflict-of-interest questions for Hillary Clinton as she prepares to launch her campaign for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination.

It's a global charity that reports it has benefitted 430 million around the world. Charities are not precluded from accepting donations fron foreign interests.

Be more concerned with the dark money that flows into superPACs benefitting both political parties and nominees.

the more things change the more they stay the same.

The scandal involved a scheme by Clinton administration officials to sell seats on taxpayer-funded trade missions in exchange for campaign contributions to the 1996 Clinton-Gore campaign. When Judicial Watch began investigating the scandal, Clinton administration officials deliberately concealed and destroyed records regarding the trade missions to avoid releasing them to Judicial Watch. In fact, Ms. Nolanda Hill, a business partner and confidante of then-Clinton Commerce Secretary Ron Brown, testified at a dramatic court hearing during the litigation that the Clinton White House “instructed” Brown "to delay the [Judicial Watch] case by withholding the production of documents prior to the 1996 elections, and to devise a way not to comply with the court’s orders."

I don't see how this is going to haunt the Clintons.

They've been repeatedly caught with questionable campaign bribes....errr donations....and it hasn't really hurt Hillary.

Heck, in this era of 1%ers and making them pay their fair share.....most don't even remember the Marc Rich pardon.

Nah, Hillary's problem is that while she is intelligent and experienced....national politics is a beauty contest. She has all the charisma of that grouchy old lunch lady, teacher or librarian that we all knew back in gradeschool.

Our allies are understandably nervous about the though of having another neo-con win the presidency, so they try to keep that from happening.

True. I do not care if a German race car driver donates money to a US candidate.

Why should I?

I take it you reject any candidates receiving money from overseas.
