How has it escaped your attention that 2/3 of their tax revenue comes from their REGRESSIVE taxes, and not their progressive income taxes?

How so? Are troops stationed on the oil tankers?

And if you ever buy any fuel, any perceived protection of oil tankers protects you, too.

How much they collect from VAT is irrelevant, and a flat tax rate is a flat tax. Feel free to call it regressive, if it makes you feel better.

Get a grip, what is welfare? Oh i forgot welfare is only for the poor. We don't count corporate or rich welfare because they make millions and billions.

Don't mean to barge in, but VATs are regressive. So are sales taxes.

No, it is not irrelevant. When a country's tax revenue is mostly dependent on regressive taxes, it's the poor and middle class who bear the brunt of the tax burden.

Corporate welfare? Since when do corporations get refundable tax credits?

Waaaah. Cry me a river. I'm sorry that you make so much money that you must pay more in taxes than impoverished Americans. Not

@InformedConsent

Once again you show a irrelevant tax % stat. Sure the top rich pay higher tax rate then others at first. But what your stats don't show is how many tax breaks or loopholes there are after that basically leaves alot paying no taxes?
