Since there are so many complaints about the American political system, I was wondering what countries might have a better one that we may want to learn from and possibly model after. Please also state the reasoning for your choice.
Better is subjective and hard to say with certainty.
Finland has got a lot going for it. I'd say the weaker European countries that tend to mind their own business have a lot to offer in terms of political philosophy. As to what is the best, couldn't tell you. I'd like to say America has the best, so long as you stop counting 1900-to the present.
I don't think being the best matters, but if we want to be better than we are now, we increase government transparency, remove the concept of career politicians, and end corporate lobbyism. That's a start.

This is not a historical question. Since society keeps evolving, I don't think we can go back to the past. Let's just focus on the current situation.
Compare to Finland, America has great natural resources, advanced technology, and a powerful economy.
Finland might have free education and healthcare for all. Finland also has low economic inequality, therefore, the crime rate is lower.
However, Finland has much much MUCH smaller population. Comparing the USA to Finland is like comparing apples to oranges.
With the New World Order well underway, and the intellectual push to world socialism at all cost, there no longer is a political system that is the best.

They are all corrupt.
While I realize the cynical nature of your post, I can't help asking: what's your definition of a corrupt government?
