Great of these benevolent oil companies to voluntarily change huh? Almost hard to believe in fact. It's as if....it's all a game. The Rockefeller family controls ExxonMobil (the most profitable corporation in the hostory of the world who pays zero in corporate income tax) and BP (who bought the right to skip safety inspections when they became Obama's #1 campaign contributor back in 2008). They also founded the IPCC. They're also the #1 private funders of global warming science/scientists on the planet through their network of shadow money. Foundations, non profits, endowments, and all types of clever ways to never pay any taxes. They also sat on the Board of Directors of Al Gore's Chicago Carbon Exchange along with Kenneth Ley of Enron, Bill Clinton, et al. It amazes me that you don't smell a rat here on any level.

1,700 Private Jets Fly to Davos to Discuss Global Warming - Breitbart
This is the Annual World Econmic Forum. There are serious hundreds of concurrent agendas going on. Pandemics, Political Instability, Tech, QE, Inequality, Oil and Climate Change are some of the highlights. You got the Ukraine asking the IMFS for $. My favorite agenda is " Passion Fruit Partnerships " .

I've always said, when the most important Global Warming proponents start walking, biking, sailing, and only using electricity generated by non negative environment source, I'll at least respect them and possibly consider their views more closely. As it now stands, they're the biggest hypocrits on Mother earth.

The most important issue on the agenda: Don't let the Muggles wake up from their zombie trances!

Maybe your problem is that you're focusing on politicians and ignoring actual scientists.

So? Regulation is perfectly OK. Companies as such are like parasitic psychopaths. Thus they need to be tightly controlled and regulated in order to keep them more or less social. Just think of the catalytic converter, various filters, changes to save the ozone layer - all of those were only possible because government forced companies to do it, else they wouldn't have because their motives are not noble or sustainable, nor is the mindset of most customers.
Regulation is good, the only problem is when it is done the wrong way.

Completely false.

The API agrees climate change is real.

Not AGW.

Wrong as usual....

Oil and Natural Gas Industry Guidelines for Greenhouse Gas Reduction Projects
IPIECA and API have produced guidance for oil and natural gas companies as they evaluate options for reducing their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and registering project-level GHG emission reductions. This guidance focuses on the technical aspects of reducing GHG emissions separate from policy considerations.

But where, anywhere does it say they agree humans are causing climate change?

They are agreeing only for political gain. Otherwise, its business as usual.
