According to the link, the database began in 2008 and " has the potential to....."

I don't have a problem with this. I went to two grocery stores today and will visit someone in the hospital this evening. I have nothing to hide and do not trend paranoid.

Could eventually come in handy to retrieve stolen cars and thiefs, a car hijacking, kidnapping and other nasty stuff.

You probably have no issue with random searches of ones home and person because you have nothing to hide.

I wasn't aware that some of you wouldn't be able to view the article. I am not a subscriber, and I had no problem viewing it.

Privacy is not about having something to hide. Freedom cannot exist in a world without privacy. And that's not paranoia.

The biggest hurdle to stopping this kind of communist/fascist garbage in a free society, is waking up the morons who think it’s ‘okay’ since they’re ‘not doing anything bad’ that the law will be watching them for.

Too many naive citizens out there who think the nanny state is a Good Thing!
