Centre (0, -2). I don't blindly follow everything a party does (and will support good policies regardless of who makes them), unlike most people on here.
I thought I was leftist (Don't follow either party though) but economically I was 1/10 towards the left and socially I was 4/10 towards the left on a recent poll I took. So I put central leftist. Also we do not have many far leftists either, among the black posters no BLM members. Also their is no SJW's in general on this part of the forum besides 18Montclair and a few others.
I am Left, as in I believe in Universal Income, progressive taxation that's not too small, smaller VAT, universal free education up to graduate level, universal health care, plenty of support for the very young (so parental leave, subsidised daycare) and the elderly (subsidised care homes and statutory pensions) and the disabled (disability benefits and decent benefits for family carers and respite care), political neutrality and some form of mandatory citizen service (which must be clarified by a strong Constitution so there is no danger of that service being turned into an extremist movement if a Far Right or Far Left government got into power). Oh and Freedom of Religion/from Religion with the Church strictly separated from the State.

He's certainly not Centrist, more to the Right than that, Centre-Right perhaps. America has a skewed view of Right and Left as the country as a whole is quite Right Wing.
I think in all fairness, Dividing the entire political range into two broad camps can be quite limiting.
This said, I am a right-winger. My grandparents from both sides are right-wingers, both of my parents are right-wingers. I guess their views have a lot to do with how I view the world. My family members in Germany are conservative, not sure if they are interested in politics.
Funny thing is that Given the history of the French revolution, left became those groups that was about challenging the establishment. Right became those groups that was about preserving the traditions.
I can't really say that I view left & right as unidimensional. One can be a left in cultural practices [be open to gay marriages] but be a right in economic practices [low debt].

Or you can be right in cultural practice, and left in economics.
