Hagee is a gentile too as are all Christians. What does the Bible say about rulers, like Obama? Read Romans 13. You think God ia happy with Israels rejection of His son Jesus Christ? God still loves His people, but to suggest He will destroy America over silly political games is just ridiculous. Does God love Netanyahu more than his political opponents? The Bible doesn't say anyting about Netanyahu.
So Hagee believes that the US should pay deference to a foreign leader in order to prevent our own demise while at the same time believing that we will be part of war that will lead to Armageddon (which he doesn't have to suffer through because, Rapture!) where Jesus returns and sends all of the Jews to eternal suffering in the lake of fire with the other unsaved.
No seriously, that is exactly what he believes. Evangelicalism sure hasn't reconciled their high regard for Israel with the fate of the actual Jews that live there.

You are absolutely correct on that issue...especially with right wing Baptists in particular. They worry more about the Jews returning to Israel so that the world will descend into destruction then they worry about the Christians of the Middle East who have been living in the area since the inception of Christianity.
