Qatar’s Al Jazeera network got their hands caught in the proverbial felafel jar today when it recycled pictures of dead children from an accident months ago, claiming they were killed in Egypt’s overnight bombing of ISIS positions in Derna, Libya.
The pictures were posted on both the Al Jazeera website and their Facebook page. The picture has been changed on their website and the Facebook post has been removed, but I did screen capture the Facebook posting:
I don't know. I do not follow Al Jazeera, have they been critical of Egypt and down playing the acts by ISIL?
I'm don't know much about Al Jazeera/Qatar and their relations with Egypt, but Qatar itself has been accused of supporting ISIS plus Egypt held a few Al Jazeera journalist in prison therefore there must be some underlying tension between the two.

Al Jazeera supported the Muslim Brotherhood rule in Egypt - they were a propaganda arm of the Muslim Brothers and the former President Morsi. Al-J reporters were tossed in jail and their offices closed down. They were released (eventually) but there is definitely a feud between the Egyptian Government and Al Jazeera. Fake pictures (which I totally believe they used) won't help that feud - add to all that, most of the Sunni nations and Gulf Coast Council have big problem with Qatar. Al- Jazeera is just one of the reasons why they are having problems with the Ruling Regime in Qatar. Qatar supports the Muslim Brothes, Hamas, Al-Qaeda and other Terrorists groups. They supply them with arms and money and they harbor their leadership.
