Hillary Clinton was a Political Appointment -- that actually means that she is subject to more rigorous ethics laws and regulations than a Civil Service employee. I can't imagine that she did not sign these separation papers - it's a requirement of so many US Codes, Executive Orders and Laws dating back many decades. We now know that she would have perjured herself by signing them - this is stuff that can't be hidden due to the Federal Bureaucracy and love of Paper-Work. Each document had to be signed by Clinton, the witness to her signature and the de-briefing officer.

Each and every one of her Assistants and aids had to sign exactly the same paperwork - we already know that at least one of her aids was also using the Clinton Secret email servers.

ANYONE who has worked as a Consultant or in Government contract work (think Defense Contractors) has to go through the same process when they separate from their company.

Hey Hillary, you know what else has convenience issues? Being POTUS. Seems to me, you are far from being up to the task. If this woman runs, she deserves to get skewered for this among many other things.

And I am pretty sure most of us are on the same page and think she's a liar. There are conflicting statements shes made about all this. And then she says she deleted about 30000 emails. LOL If anyone truly believes she turned over every email she was supposed to and then deleted 30000 emails so no one else could verify (anyone that doesn't work for her of course) then you are a liar or a fool of the highest order.

I think Hillary could be even far worse than Obama when it comes to transparency and lies and just making rules up as she goes along. We can only hope she doesn't get that chance

That's true, but it doesn't get her off the hook. According to the U.S. Department of State Foreign Affairs
Records Management Handbook:

"When the inventory is completed, the departing official must request a review of the materials proposed for removal. In the Department, the records officer in cooperation with the S/ES or appropriate administrative office will conduct the review for Presidential appointees confirmed by the Senate. The administrative or executive office conducts the review for other Department officials and/or employees. At Foreign Service posts and domestic field offices, the administrative officer will conduct the review for all officials. Reviewing officials will consult with the Department’s records officer as necessary;

(3) The purpose of the review is to certify that the documentary materials proposed for removal may be removed without diminishing the official records of the Department; violating national security, privacy or other restrictions on disclosure; or exceeding normal administrative economies. This generally requires a hands-on examination of the materials to verify the accuracy of the inventory;

(4) Once the reviewing official is satisfied that documentary materials proposed for removal comply with Federal law and regulations the reviewing official completes Form DS-1904, Authorization for the Removal of Personal Papers and Non-Record Materials, and forwards the form and the inventory to the Department of State records officer."

The way Reagan was? Heck McCain was raked over for it in 2008 if you recall.
Hillary is something like 3 years younger than McCain was back then.

I don't think that they will actually go after her on age but instead just let her lack of charisma and "mean old lady" vibe sour voters. It's not fair but politics is a charisma and beauty contest....her husband had all that and more, she doesn't.

I think Carly Fiorina has been recruited to serve as designated attack female. A boy can't hit a boy but a girl can. The GOP ran into that in her run for Senate against Rick Lazio.

Bizarre, but that's where we are with our system for selecting a prez.

Oh, but the left is always quick to point out that Reagan was showing signs of senility at the end of his presidency.

I guess that too doesn`t matter when its one of their guys.

Reagan's declining mental faculties (Alzheimer's has a slow build up) didn't rise to the level of becoming a national security threat. Any problems were deeply hidden by Nancy, his handler's and usually laughed off by the press. Sure he had a failing memory it was all so cute and charming!

I think if handled correctly it would be fair game.
Remember, even though Hillary and her koolaid drinkers will try to play the gender/sexism card, she also needs to come off as looking presidential. Otherwise a lot of people will not vote for her to be the leader of the free world.
