The Huntsville Times reports that 24-year-old Caleb Moore is being charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Officers were responding to an attempted break-in at a residential address; they found Moore and four other men outside, per the Times, "near a pickup truck that smelled strongly of marijuana." A search of the vehicle turned up a bag of pot, several Xanax tablets and Moore's passport. It's not his first arrest, they point out: he was also picked up in 2011 for drug possession and DUI charges. He also pleaded guilty to a drug paraphernalia charge in 2013.
How can you call the judge a hypocrite? He didn't have the drugs. His son did. Something like that shouldn't even be reported. It's absolutely none of our business if a judge's son gets into trouble. Certainly no one outside of the state of Alabama, or even the town he's from, should care about this or feel at all invested in this.
A kid committed a crime. His dad is a judge so he may get off lucky. Too bad most aren't afforded the same privilege.

His sister Heather and Caleb are Democrats.
Caleb left home at 17, "because his parents were too strict", he said.
