You are right. This is an outrage. We need better gun control.

"Such shootings are rare in Boston, but firearms are a major concern in the city, the police commissioner said.
"We've got way too many guns out there, way too many young kids running around with the guns," he said, "and unfortunately this is what happens.""

Gun control would do nothing. My issue with this is the double standard. If black leaders have a hoot about the people they claim to represent they would be comdeming this. But, we hear crickets. The officers didn't even have their guns drawn. Where's Obama to tell us how heinous this was? He seems to get involved in other situations he has no business in why not this one?

Gun control only ensures it's the scum who have the majority of the guns, and the rest are largely defenseless. Come across the border from MA into VT where we don't have much gun control and the crime rate drops like a lead balloon from what it is in MA.

There is a gun in nearly every household where I live, despite the plethora of guns there is no gun violence. Instead of advocating for more gun control I would suggest you address the root cause of why there is so much violence in these areas. It's not going away guns or no guns and further limiting the legal ownership of guns can only take them out of the hands of law abiding citizens.
