Half the labor force is wha...?

Right-wing statistics are always good for laugh.

The only communists I see are the right-wingers who sided with Putin during his row with Obama. Traitors.

As for the rest, yawn. Our economy historically does much better under a Democrat president. This is no exception.

Bush left a catastrophe. Obama will leave sub-5% unemployment. Romney promised 6% by 2016, which goes to show that Republicans even suck at making promises: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com...ent-down-to-6/

Makes the Republicans look really bad......they get in power and seem to just mess things up.
Then the Dems step-in and clean-up the mess.

I am not really a supporter of either party, but after the last middle-east mess......I kinda see why many view the Republicans as stinky-cheese.

One would have to ignore the hiring numbers to believe more people are not working. Many of those leaving workforce are boomers retiring in huge numbers also.10k a day and to continue its said for 13 more years.

Do not be foolish. A lower percentage of people are working now than at any point in Bush's tenor, and that includes even the after the housing bust. That is because Obama's policies have destroyed this country.

If you didn't know about unemployment VS workforce participation, now you do. Learn more about it though google. But do not continue to push this silly fiction that everything is wonderful. There is no debate about what Obama has done. If he were consciously trying to destroy the country, he could not be doing any better job.

So Obama is now responsible for the baby boom that has resulted in the labor force participation rate which has been falling for decades?

The number of people not in the labor force includes retirees, kids in college and HS (over 16), stay at home parents, etc. e.g., people who don't want to be working.

There are also millions more people working than during Bush.

Stop confusing them with facts. Don't you know the "truth?" Inconvenient numbers are obviously contrived.

On the other hand, 1.14 Million Americans 55+ are looking for Full-Time work.

there are 20,219,890 that are 15-19 in the usa
Democracy Class is an important part of Rock the Vote’s outreach plan in 2011 and beyond, considering almost 13,000 young people turn 18 every day.

So-called "Millennials" outnumber all generations before them; today there are 17 million more Millennials alive than Baby Boomers, and 27 million more Milliennials than there are members of Generation X. By the year 2012, Millennials will represent 24% of the voting age population and 36% by 2012.

Rock the Vote: Democracy Class - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In 2011, the first of the baby boom generation reached what used to be known as retirement age. And for the next 18 years, boomers will be turning 65 at a rate of about 8,000 a day.

Research Date: 1.1.2014
Total Number of Americans who turn 65 per day............6,000
Retirement Statistics | Statistic Brain

FACT: number of americans turning 65 daily.....6,000
number of americans turning 18 daily...... 13,000

with only 6k of people being ELIGIBLE to retire, yet 13k are ELIGIBLE to COME IN TO the work force...the work force SHOULD be increasing...yet the politicians play with numbers....

you have LESS people working full time than when Obama took the helm... you have 13 million more people in the population since the change of command.......

and the "'millennials " are a BIGGER generation than the boomers

In their quest to have a statistic to throw at the left, right wingers spend a lot of time emotionally coddling those who refuse to look for work.
