Please tell me where "fair" guarantees "equality".

I say this because I'm sick and tired of hearing the left spout "fairness" as policy. Stupid, ignorant people will believe that they are held back because things are "not fair".

Think about it....who screams "that's not fair!"?.......children. Children yell "that's not fair!"
No, the conservative opinion that "as long as they get theirs, screw everyone else" would be the childish one. Petulant little rich brats who were born on third base and think they hit a home run are considered the conservative ideal. The rest of the people are chattel, never to advance because they don't want to pay to educate the poor or even raise minimum wage to an acceptable level. Conservatives really show their childishness in believing helping people is foolish since they get less. Why is the opinion that giving the poor a leg up more childish than that?

I don't labor under a pretense that people are naturally fair. I expect that people will form cliques and trusts and cartels to make opportunities unequal wherever possible, and will manipulate government to ensure that inequality.

Life is inherently unfair. I am a trust fund baby yet despite that I hold a good job that I and I alone worked to obtain. The same opportunities are out there for everyone. People just have to avail themselves of those opportunities instead of waiting got some "fairness" process to hand it to them.
Your fantasy.

I've never met anyone who suggested equal outcome.

Congrats OP on another conservative strawman argument.

It's simple...

There's no such thing as equality of opportunity or outcomes.

Certainly not in the United States.

Lefties don't want to hear it, much less admit that not only is there such a thing as free education for those who are willing to learn........But there are even companies out there that will actually PAY PEOPLE TO LEARN.

It's called ON THE JOB TRAINING......and it usually starts at or close to minimum wage.

Your fantasy.
What fantasy? What is your implication? Or are you just jealous?

Why would someone still be on third base if they hit a home run?

But I digress......conservatives contribute much more in the way of personal charity than do liberals.

How does anyone know this. Do they ask your political affiliation when you donate? I have never been asked this when I donate....have you?

So how exactly does working at burger king, prepare you for a software engineering job?

As for paying you to learn, more and more thats being taken over by H1Bs.

What a disgusting blatant lie. The Gates Foundation has more charitable work than any disturbed right wing "charity" by far. I don't feel like explaining the concept of baseball to you either
