I only found out recently that the staff that a Maryland flag is being flown from should be topped with a Cross Bottony (the type of cross in the red and white portions of the flag), not an eagle or sphere.

Unfortunately for you the Supreme Court has ruled that Disparate Impact is legal.

Applying the concept to this situation, all your flag has to do is look kinda like a confederate flag even if it has nothing to do with it....and it's somehow racially offensive.

Kinda like if society runs crappy schools and oppresses blacks and so fewer of them get tech degrees....but then holds your company up as an example of racism for not having a population proportionate number of that race in those jobs.
