I am still waiting for the ICE age scientist said was coming when a kid or world to end from the atomic clock running down. We are doomed any which way you look according to someone.

Nuclear destruction is solely up to us humans, and that danger still exists.

Science is much more advanced today than it was when you were a kid. Hence warnings today are much more serious than those of the past, unfortunately.

It is already happening. It is a continuous process, not like turning off the light.

Despite all the problems such a mass extinction can bring, I doubt humans will die out. Like cockroaches we are everywhere and in some places we will survive.
