This is a perfect window into the liberal mind. This is a university that will not allow a criminal's race to be broadcast, even in the event of a violent crime or rape. To them, political correctness is more important than the safety of students.

And now this. I wonder which one of the hyphenated name idiots came up with this one?

The concept of "affirmative consent" is as dangerous as it is impractical. Beyond that, it isn't the role of school administrators to involve themselves in the sex lives of students, the overwhelming majority of whom are legal adults. Sexual assault when it does occur, is a violent criminal act. These new standards are politically driven, with the net result of subverting due process: the burden of proof is transferred from the accuser to the accused.

We need to take colleges and universities out of the business of investigating and adjudicating claims of criminal violence. These are crimes which need to be investigated by trained professionals who have no sociopolitical agenda. Legitimate sexual assault statistics make it clear that there is no "rape culture" on college campuses. In fact, college women are at less risk of sexual assault than are similarly-aged women who don't attend college. Poor women living in urban areas are at the highest risk.

Lastly, I would point out that there are many of us on the political left who decry the actions and ideologies of authoritarian feminism. I think radical feminists are in an unofficial contest with the religious right to see who can devise the most draconian means of controlling the sexual behaviors of the rest of us.

Funny, I'm liberal and that wasn't in my mind.

By the way, men should be very happy about this. No more false claims of rape, right?
