Walker practically declared war on about 5 different countries yesterday. I guess he learned that from his two week crash course to bone up on foreign policy.

Of course that involves bloodshed. But it's better than the U.S. and West playing by Marquis of Queensbury rules while they're plowing planes into our buildings. And I am NOT a Republican; I'm a liberal Democrat.
Who is "they" ?

Why Iraq?

Most of the 9/11 hijackers had Saudi Arabia ( long time U.S. ally) passports. Some of the 1993 WTC terrorists were US citizens, by birth or 1986 amnesty. I don't think any were from Iraq.

The US was itching to go into Iraq and take out the leader appointed by the US because he thumbed his nose at the petro dollar, well before 9/11.

We did not go into for WMD nor to deliver democracy or fight for our freedom. We did it to protect the petro dollar and thus our lifestyle.

Iraq was stable before we invaded, hasn't been stable since.

Tyranny seems to be a relatively stable form of government.

dude, that's the point.

the more war there is. the more money war industrial complex makes.

They have been marching the drums to go confront china for about Ten years.

This is a never ending story. it has nothing to do with whether Democracts or Republicans are in power.

They only differ slightly on Tactics. but their strategy is the same. Build and Maintain the Empire.

If the goal is to create war we probably a hundred different countries to choose from that abuse their citizens. We seems to stay out of the vast majority of world conflicts but you are focusing on a few that we are involved in. Not to mention we are involved in fewer world issues than say the UN.

Plus we are reducing military spending and the size of our standing army, a direct contradiction to your theory.

Walker believes in a defending our own interests policy and sticking up for ourselves that would not have been out of step ten or fifteen years ago. He is not a radical.

Dude What are you talking about??

Obama has been god-sent for War Industrial Complex. He has sold 2x what bush sold in weapons only his first six years of administration.

he has ordered the building of 5 new Super Careers (Nimitz class). a whole of new Submarines.

HE has continued wasting America's money on the F-35 Program. He has been ordering drones like a crazy man.

Liberals are blind if they don't see that Obama has been far more effective of a servant for the purposes of war industrial industry than bush ever was.

Military spending is on the decline and we do need to replace an aging fleet of ships and air planes. Most of the Air Force is dated, air frames are beyond designed life span spending more time grounded requiring maintenance.

Does any military spending in your mind constitute a military industrial complex?

It depends! weather it is meant to dominate the world or it is just capacity to defend yourself.

if you are building more so many new Nimitz class careers to send to southern china sea to strengthen the 7th fleet so they can tell the Chinese who is the boss. I am not interested in that. The Australians and Vietnamese , Japanese, Indonesians will all reach an accord with Chinese. It is not our business to police the waters 15,000 miles away from our country policing.

I am interested to build yet new nuclear weapons ( What Obama has been doing).

The Military Spending has been only on decline because we don't have the massive presence in Iraq or Afghanistan anymore. but if you compare to year 2000 or 1995.

Military Spending increase is probably only second to Medicare.

Don't be fooled by the Noise in the Media. We only have party in America and it is the corporate overloads party. Republicans an Democrats are just the two factions of that party. Obama or bush's Actions were a direct consequence of what this country's ruling class consensus was.
