Mexican politics are corrupt to the core. Much like ours.

For "mainstream academics" read leftist, race baiting mouthpieces who hide out in universities because they can't get real jobs..
Translation: In absence of a logical argument, vitrioil, screeds and ad hominems will do. Duly noted.

It would be nice if you took notes, you might actually learn something. But then, leftists really have no interest in learning anything because their ideology already covers everything.

I know this may well be hard to comprehend, but Mexican politics are actually worse than ours.

You could ask why didn't Texas turn out like Mexico. Reading the events leading to Texas Independence from being shortly held by Mexico might be instructive. Mexico was reneging on agreements with the Anglo settlers and instituting foreign rules and arbitrary dictatorship and ethnocentrism on the Anglos. The Anglos resisted as it went against their interests and sensibilities. Anglos had a long history of resisting tyranny before that point. Magna carter, American revolution etc.

That's very true. It take a LOT to make an English culture based country mad but; when it happens, things get real ugly for those trying to attack us. Hitler found that out during WW 2; for some reason, he decided to NOT try to overrun England after his air force couldn't break that country's will.

Interesting study.

The majority of nations with higher scores have colder winter climates and relatively mild summer climates.

I've always maintained that the intelligence of people who live in year round hot climates is dulled by the heat. That study seems to back that up.

Than why does it differ in the US if that is the case?
