I guess the best argument would be that their sex should not be acknowledged by the law. They should be seen as gender neutral citizens. I see this as a plus because it would end the bias towards women in custody proceedings.

A simple word change will not change any bias towards the women in custody hearings. Just because the words are changed does not mean the judge no longer knows who the damn mother is. lmao
