You are correct but not in the way you think.


This representative of Kentucky is forcing her religious beliefs into a legal matter. I think violating people's Constitutional rights in several different ways is creating resentment.

I think you need to understand the difference in the need for rules, laws and processes in society, and oppression.

I agree that government needs to get out of the marriage business and giving special treatment to the married men & women, others don't get.

As governments intellectual way, of establishing the family unit of men staying with their women, to raise the children.
