Why aren't more Muslim nations taking in their fellow Muslims?

These "fleeing" Muslims are fleeing from muslim nations so why would they willingly go to another muslim nation? They would rather flee to another non muslim nation and work on changing it to suit there particular brand of islam. Much safer for them.

The U.S. People soured on continuing to throw good money after bad.

The US spent $ trillions and years training the Iraq military which likely included ISIS. When the bad guys came, they shed their uniforms and ran, leaving behind the U.S. military equipment.

Imagine if say McCain had been president. He likely would have sought to invalidate the agreement to withdraw troops and instead, doubled down in Iraq. What's another $ trillion a year for eternity?

Unlike so many armchair warriors, I don't pretend to know the nuances of the Middle East. If the majority of people's self esteem is tied to invaring and occupying other countries while pretending to impose democracy, so be it.

Let's then be responsible enough to increase taxes to pay for it.
Good post.

Yeah, gotta love all the armchair warriors who were all gungho about the war in Iraq and the "search" for Weapons of Mass Destruction. Remember those?

Some of us, on the other hand, knew from the outset that it was all bogus, and that the war was entirely manufactured. Iraq had played no direct role in 9-11, and the Bush administration's claims that Iraq concealed an arsenal of WOMDs were nothing more than a smokescreen. Total BS. A perfect example of the Shock Doctrine. And we were right.

We knew that war would cost too much life and too much money, and that it would bring the US to its knees economically. We were right. We also knew that the West, ultimately, would suffer for years, or perhaps decades, the fallout of bogus war in the ME. Once again, we, it turns out, were right.

The current problem in Europe will get much worse before it gets better. But, for we in the US to smugly believe that this is solely a European problem, or that the US will remain relatively unscathed from the consequences of the bogus war we started, is the height of foolishness. We WILL pay an even higher price than we already have.

LOL. Exactly. Though I agree with another poster (on this thread or another; I can't remember) who said that it perhaps suits their purposes very nicely to have an influx of millions more Muslims into the West as a result of neverending "turmoil" in the ME. Maybe extremists in the ME are also adept at manufacturing crisis in order to facilitate their own grand schemes.

But the real reason was reinstating the petro dollar.
Bin Laden and those weapons of mass destruction were detractors to the true reason.

The hunt for Bin Laden could have been done by the CIA alone.
And it ended up that it was the CIA that found him.

Are they though ? - all of them? .. some of them?.. ... just a vocal minority of them?

I certainly don't want my country being swamped by Muslims, but amongst the few people I know from Muslim countries, none of them give a s*** about religion. They only seem interested in greater social freedom and more economic freedom.

fyi: Jordan wasn't stolen. It was gifted to the Hashemites from Saudi Arabia by Britain.

Jordan has a tent city on its northern border, paid for by the UN.
