Just like the OP says. The Vatican is a country. It should show its empathy and support by accepting thousands of Syrian refugees. Afterall, the Vatican has BILLIONS of dollars sitting around to support its 100 acre compound. Surely it can't be that expensive to pay for the Pope's three meals and a cot, right?

Let's start with 100,000 Syrian refugees. It's the Christian thing to do. Right Pope Francis? Right Catholic folks?

Doesn't matter. It's a wealthy country. It can afford to help downtrodden and persecuted refugees.

Lightbulb The Vatican Is A Country. The Vatican Should Take In Thousands of Syrian Refugees.

The Vatican should admit exactly as many as Mecca does.

Exactly. Mecca: 0 refugees. The Vatican: 2 refugee families.

It appears that the leaders of these dominant religions are hypocrites of the highest order.
