My mom was asking about this, she said we should have Congress all sign up for the nationalized proposal and put their families under it so we can see how it goes. I don't see anything wrong with that I guess.

They all actually do have government health plan and love it. It is just that many among them don't want you to have it. Tell your mom that as well.

What should happen is, those who vote against a public option to the people, should forgo their own public plan and buy into a private plan of their own... for life! I see no reason why tax payers should pay for their government plan (for life) when they think there are better choices available.

Well, the government's health care plan is simply TOO EXPENSIVE for all Americans to have at current prices, etc....

BUT, I'm in FULL agreement that if the government is going to pass a health care bill and require us all to be on it that they too must be on this plan....

I voted "other" since the main bill that Congress has been considering in various committees does not call for one plan for all citizens.

The bill is H.R. 3200 - America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009.

That's choices, as in plural.

Section 102 in particular would seem to apply to this thread/poll - Protecting the Choice to Keep Current Coverage.

Also you can bet they will make sure that they don't pay anyhtign for the coming heatlhcare expense. Look at Pelosi and the minumum wage exemption ofr her husbands business.

The President, Senators, Congresspersons, and Supreme Court Justices should be FORCED to have this as their health care if it is RAMMED down our throats. In addition, their families have to be on this plan. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.....

People still aren't getting the "choices" part.
