If you are a transgender, or a convincing transvestite, you make up 0.001% of the US population.

No one is going to pat you down before entering a public restroom, to see if you are packing. If you can pass for a woman, and use the third stall on the left in the women's bathroom, no one will know.

If you are a woman, but look like a man, use the stall in the men's bathroom.

Actually the most recent surveys came up with an estimate of .3 percent of the US population.

You do bring up a point on how would they enforce any laws pertaining to rest room use. Will there be strip searches? I personally know a few trans men (born female, identify male) that if using the ladies room could cause a panic among other ladies even though they do have vaginas.

The perverts are those who want to be something they are not. And use a room not meant for them.

Nature gave you what you got down there. Accept it or get mental help.

The voters of Houston apparently disagree with you.

A better question is, do they know about it? You know the leftist perverts in Houston are not going to tell them. Is the "no" campaign sufficiently funded and staffed to get the word out? We will find out on election day, because you know these communities would not support this if they understood it.

Why does it bother you? What do you think happens in the women's restroom?

Gendered restrooms are for the benefit of men, rather than women (except avoiding the perils of following a man who can't aim ). I could care less who is in the stall next to me - it doesn't impact me one bit.

I worry about what could happen more if men are allowed to go into the women's restroom because they claim to be transgender.
