Government handouts do not strengthen the middle class.
Dependency on the government doesn't strengthen any group.

But Government handouts strengthen the wealthiest class?

You know, the real cash cow-TRILLIONS in bailouts, TRILLIONS in Quantitative Easing, Subsidies, Tax Evasions, No-Bid Contracts with the Government, 0% Interest Loans from the Fed.

Or only the Billions used for the poor count?

The Trillions given to a tenth of 1% of the population should never be talked about right?
Even when at the same time the incomes for 90% of Americans are in stagnation or decline?

This is what I said:

"Government handouts do not strengthen any group"

How did you interpret that to mean is helps the wealthiest class ?

Are you that fixated on the rich that you can't read simple sentences ?

Well I beg to differ. I think the Government handouts to the richest in society have helped them tremendously. Remember the same banks deemed "too big to fail" a few years ago have only grown more powerful and to control even more of our economy. Obviously, something is working for them that is not working for 90%+ of Americans.

You and others often insinuate that it's because most Americans are too dumb, lazy, reliant on welfare, etc. I am saying no, it is the direct result of our Government and the handouts/policies achieved by those that have most access TO the Government and our corruptible politicians. Hint: It is not the 90 year old lady on Food Stamps or even the Cop or Doctor. It is about a tenth of 1% of the population-many not even Americans.

Then you haven't been paying attention to the bills that the Republicans have been stopping that would have helped the middle class. And in case you didn't notice, the rich love the handouts they get from the government because it benefits them greatly.

No, born in 1978 and live no where near my mother's house, but I am sure blaming a small percentage of people who are illegals in this country is causing all your financial troubles.

You are comparing government handouts to individuals with government loans to corporations.

FWIW the USG made a profit on those loans by $65 billion.

Funny there are no cornfields where I live. All the work being done in construction is being done by the illegal workforce. When I was younger this workforce was Americans now they are Illegals getting the same pay as I did twenty years ago. But of course Carpentry is not a job Americans would do. Americans will go on crab boats and risk their lives yet will not bang nails. Maybe it's because they can not live twenty workers per house or survive on the pay cheap contractors pay these days......

Ok lets talk about how EBT cards is benefiting the big banks.

Each month, the three companies that administer EBT receive a small fee that can range from $.31 to $2.30 (or higher depending upon the number of welfare services on an EBT card and state contractual requirements) for each SNAP recipient.

See it benefits big banks to keep you poor and on the government dole. And do you think for a min they are going to give that up.
