firearms easily outnumbering total people at said places. i thought more guns were dangerous

Additionally, why do most mass murders occur at gun free zones, or places where it is perceived/common knowledge that most people wont be carrying?

Because those are your hunters and people who know how to use their guns and the power behind them and the respect it takes in owning one. They have obtained their guns legally, and have therefore been vetted for mental illness.

Guns are not the problem...the wrong people obtaining them is.

You have to be vetted for mental illness? How long till the NRA gets rid of that one?

Clearly that's a first step to the confiscation of all guns

NRA folk tend to have a respect for guns, not unlike writers re pens, or violinists re violins. If an NRA person decides to do something stupid, the last implement of choice is going to be a gun. Invariably the mass shooters don't know anything about guns. It's vitually unheard of that a mass shooter is an NRA member.

When I organised Gun Shows I used to make people take the ammo out of their guns at the door and we kept guns and ammo seperately and we watched people with guns like a hawk.

The reason being a guy that I promoted the show with does shows all over the State and he had a gun go off one time that was his and it was previously unloaded, another show he caught an anti gun person loading a gun when they thought they were not being watched.

Just pointed that out because not all accidents are accidents at gun shows.
