The liberal lie about "97% of scientists believe in global warming" (Obama, myth)

So liberals keep parroting this non-sense about 97% of scientists claim that man is causing global warming. Of course we know this is just made up. Well, those of us with functioning brains anyway. But some might wonder where the myth came from.

A "researcher" skimmed over a bunch of papers from other researchers who think that that global warming exists. Of those papers, if they mentioned anything that even sounded like people might be related to global warming, he counted those papers as supporting man made global warming (notice I said papers, and not scientists). That number came out to about 97% of those that support GW.

But upon further review, it turns out that only about 0.3% of all the papers reviewed claim to support man-made global warming. So yeah, liberals were a little bit off on that one, but they aren't exactly known for their analytical skills.

Of course it didn't help that Obama posted the liberal lie on twitter.

all i know it is 90 in Orlando in Nov- and set yet another record- for high temps- the OCEANS are HOT- and sharks are showing up way north. I know after 60 yrs never had AC on in NOV until now

I just read where we might be heading for another polar vortex winter in the northeast again due to record October snowfall in Siberia. But they have their predictions and they often don't pan out or they don't fully understand how the climate works. That's also why the global warming predictions are sensationalistic hogwash.

You don't understand how post-normal science works: The fact that the majority of warmanistas want it to be true make it so.
