We investigated the reported incident at the time and concluded that it was not a targeted attack and was likely to be connected to routine exercises being conducted by the Egyptian military in the area at the time," the spokesman said in a statement.
So the UK investigation is just a cover-up? Do you have anything to back this belief, other than paranoia?
yeah, seems plausible. After all, the Sinai is terrorist free
they were told it was a military exercise and they bought it. You think Egypt wants bad press or to lose tourism $? they're corrupt as a 3 dollar bill.
Guess we can stop guessing how the Russian plane crashed.
why is this just being reported now?? It happened in AUGUST.
why is the media SO AFRAID of reporting bad things Muslims do?
Have you been following this story at all? The only people claiming it was not a bomb are Putin and the Egyptian officials.
The Brits and US government are attempting to get Putin to understand that it most likely was a bomb.
But keep trying to blame the media for everything in the world--even though it is utterly ridiculous and it is beginning to sound not only lame, but paranoid.
Putin doesn't want his bombing in Syria and assistance to Assad to be blamed. That makes him somewhat responsible. He is also bombing insurgents who just happen to be the same sect of muslims that is the majority muslim population of Russia, so he has to worry about domestic terrorism as well.
Of COURSE Putin doesn't want to admit it was a bomb. It would mean a victory for ISIS and weakness on Russia and Egypt's part. the media doesn't exactly help by diminishing anything bad Muslims do. shhh! we can't make a big deal over it. They might get offended and call you an Islamophobe.
