Imagine..
We have a group of immigrants waiting to come to America from another country.
There is a high probability that a small number of them are infected with a contagious disease
that could kill hundreds of people if they come here.

Pretend that we can't really screen for the disease very well until it becomes active so there is no good way to tell who has it and who doesn't in the batch of immigrants. We just know based on historical precedent that there is a high probability that some of them do have it.

Do we let them in?

apparently there are some people, who would want them in regardless....they possess no knowledge what-so-ever of these people, and not only think, but believe they are just like we are....

We don't let them in for a LOT of reasons. Security of the nation for one. The fact that cost would be: The High Cost of Resettling Middle Eastern Refugees | Center for Immigration Studies The viruses and diseases: The High Cost of Resettling Middle Eastern Refugees | Center for Immigration Studies and War and Infectious Diseases: Challenges of the Syrian Civil War and Syria crisis: Typhoid and hepatitis spreads around region as refugees flee | Middle East | News | The Independent and all that will be coming to your area soon and to your children.

These people have a country. Sure, they all want to come here. They'll be complaining about not having good enough housing and food while we have homeless that are not being taken care of: National Alliance to End Homelessness: Snapshot of Homelessness and One in 30 American Children Is Homeless, Report Says - NBC News and Basic Statistics - Talk Poverty

I saw this morning that there are now 31 states that have signed on as not wanting the refugees in their states. Encourage your state to stand against it also. We can't carry anymore. We the taxpayers will carry the financial burden.

Here is the national debt and does it look like we afford this, caring for these people, the disease and viruses............ U.S. National Debt Clock : Real Time Our system in every way is already stretched as far as it will go.

They say the states can't refuse. It is time to force a change that allows that since we have a dictator in the White House.

Tom Wolf in PA is allowing them in, I've even written him about it, this is strictly political, to stand by Obama....and I'm so sick of what they have done to this country. We should have closed off all our borders right after 911 happened, but didn't and I blame Bush for that, and for taking us to war, and now, after spending all that time over in the Middle East, Obama pulls out most of our soldiers, and what happens...ISIS????? I don't understand what is wrong with the people of this country....after so many of our boys were killed and or mammed for life, trying to gain control of the problem, and to teach them to fight for themselves, (my son was a trainer) and Obama goes and just pulls them out?

It is insane what our leaders have done, to appease their political parties...and I'm sick of it.
And now, Terrorists are on the attack again but Obama claims that we have them contained? HAH, how, how do we have them contained, he not only has pulled our men and women out of the middle east, but has cut our military? How in the world can we be safe. Or are Americans living under this delision that it can't and won't happen here?

Do they honestly believe that the terrorists are not hiding within the refugees?

And then people come into threads and accuse us of being in fear...yeah, maybe it is fear, fear of seeing anyone ever killed again like that. When your a parent, you don't want to see anyone else's child killed by some crazy terrorist for an ungodly cause, that they believe is truly of God?

Oh but we have them contained, but the Boston Bombers succeeded? Didn't they, but b/c that was a small scale, I guess it didn't matter that much. Now in Paris, but hey, it wasn't here so what the heck...right?

If we are going to contain terrorists, then we're always going to have to remain in the middle east...period...just like we are in Germany.

Have you all forgotten that after 911 they threatened to attack our children, our school buses.

all of you people, the bleeding hearts of this country, need a reality check. You need to defend yourself with the reality of knowledge of other cultures.
