With Americans now more conscious of the dangers of the world, will it put a dent in Obama's gun control agenda?

If Americans were not already aware of the dangers of the world, then they're too clueless to grasp the enormity of what happened in Paris. Likely one in four Americans has no idea today what happened in Paris yesterday.

That being said, any serious attempt at gun control would do nothing more that transform tens of millions of previously law abiding citizens into criminals. And these previously law abiding citizens wouldn't give one damn that their government would now view them as criminals. It is THAT important.

It has nothing to do with it. His gun control agenda is whatever he can do with executive orders, most of which will be eventually overturned by the courts anyway.

As far as a gun control agenda in Congress, it appears that he has entirely given up on that.

Paris has problems with murdering terrorists. The USA has its own problems with mass shooters who act in a form of terrorism. The world has a problem with terrorism.

All the guns in the US could be scrapped. All the guns in the world could be destroyed but terrorist would still find a way.

The Paris attacks will not affect Obamas plans but it will cause the American gun owners to grasp their firearms a bit tighter.

Obama's agenda is now irrelevant. He is nothing more than a lame duck (one of the lamest) running out his time in the WH.

Will it put a dent in his Gitmo agenda as well? I hope so.

What has a terrorist attack in Paris have to do with a domestic gun issue?

Everything causes American gun owners to grasp their firearms tighter. They are the most paranoid group in the US.

When good, law-abiding people are unarmed, they're sitting ducks.

If you were in Paris last night, would you want to be unarmed?

No this won't impact Obamas gun control agenda one bit. The American people already don't support it so why would he stop now? He knows Congress won't support him so he'll whip out his pen and try to legislate from his desk again.

It might finally turn more people against amnesty for illegals and get more people to push for stricter border control.
