And all this time, I was under the impression that their job was to REPORT the news, not create it.

Major editorial boards condemn Trump - CNNPolitics.com

"The editorial boards of the Washington Post and the Boston Globe both penned condemnations of Donald Trump this week, urging the Republican Party to reject him.

On Tuesday, the Boston Globe published a scathing editorial titled "Massachusetts voters must stop Donald Trump." The authors wrote that "stopping Donald Trump is imperative -- and not just for his fellow Republicans."

And on Thursday, after Trump's resounding victory in the Nevada caucuses, the editors of the Washington Post followed suit. Under the headline "GOP leaders, you must do everything in your power to stop Trump," the paper's editors exhorted the Republican Party to repudiate the man who is increasingly likely to be their nominee in November.
"

this kind of crap is exactly why he's winning. people are sick and tired of the establishment - ie: the corporations and media running our government.

and how laughable that they call out Rubio's lack of experience when Obama won 2 terms and having NO experience whatsoever.

**Disclaimer - I am NOT a partisan! But this is outrageous.

It isn't just Fox news; it is almost all mainstream news today. Look what they did to the BLM movement; they threw fuel on the fire for just a few more viewers. It did not matter that people, even police were killed or beaten, they simply wanted the ratings.

I still think, that with the Trump campaign, they are the biggest losers. They were used to making the news and not reporting; now they are finding out that fewer are listening. They are losing status. Perhaps they will eventually see the light and turn back to true reporting?

Newspaper endorsements date back to colonial times and are on the decline.
TV outlets now embrace them.
Seems you just don't like them bashing Trump.

'Working' brains only need to respirate.

As for 'functioning'...... no evidence present throughout C-D.

Totally agree. They threw gasoline on the Michael Brown riots and facilitated the BLM movement.

As for Trump - if he does win Presidency, the first one he should thank is Arianna Huffington. No one gives him more coverage and top headlines. 2nd place is CNN.

You don't specify "all this time", but if you just now discovered the existence of editorials, it can't have been that long.
