Very good speech !!!! he spoke to the things of reality and life, he also put a call out to AMERICAN PEOPLE to become and be responsible, to unite, to work together, to develop a shared vision, to side step the public drama of divisiveness and to look to the change that are inevitable within the future.
He was so very right about the conditions as he took office, and any wise individual would know, that these things needed immediate address, far and above the initial campaign aims. But he never lost the vision for change, even in the midst of a contending and challenging right wing system, nor the vile of right wing tactic's.
We no longer have 800 million jobs being lost, we no longer have people loosing homes by the 10's of thousands, we no longer have a broken down auto industry and we no longer have many of the challenges that were placed in his lap as he sat in the Oval Office Chair.

It does not matter that Republican System and many members resist acknowledging these things, nor does it matter that they continue to launch assaults, push hate and seek to discredit. The fact are facts, and the nation is far better than it was when he walked into office.
The global nations appreciate his stance on diplomacy, and the world greatly appreciates America not trying to be the world police, but instead is working through coalition building methods embracing "diplomacy".

The general Republican Stom, Charge Ahead, and Try and Take Over, Dominate and Force something, is gone and thank goodness to American, we have a President who did not come into office and follow the worn out past script of Republican Agenda.
If President Obama had not been smart, we'd be in War in Ukraine, Egypt, Syria, Continuing in Iraq and we'd be threatening Iran with madness at every turn.
As he said, We should have learned from Vietnam, and We should have learned from Iraq, that Stomping around like we are the Beast Master, does not work in this day and age. Republican simply can't digest to learn the meaning of that.
Great Speech, push ahead and get the community colleges back to where they were before Reagan screwed them up, and then Push for State Universities to become as they were before the Reagan assault on them.

History will record the good works, no matter how much republican slam things in blog scripts and message boards, History deal with real facts.

Great Job !!!!
You, Mr. President was never in office to be a magician, nor to be there and wave a magic wand, (those who expected such were caught up in over expectations, which should be placed on no one) but to work on and work with and work through the challenges to make things better than you found them. You've done that, regardless of what the nay-sayer spew and scream. The wise minds know and the vast majority of open minded American appreciate your works.

^Post # 273....... A bigger joke, more filled with untruths than the SOTU.

That last paragraph is a real winner. Libs shouldn't even be responsible for their own over expectations. WOW, just WOW.

That's hilarious. Did you hire a ghostwriter for some parts of that post, or was it all you?

It wasn't a speech, it was a sophomoric, selfish castigation of the American people. It was embarrassing.
The crybaby didn't get everything on his Socialist dream list, so he used the time to torture us with a lazy diatribe unbecoming to the office he holds.
Using the time to defend Muslims and omitting any mention of the Iranians holding our Navy sailors in the Persian Gulf.
The man lives in a fantasy world and apparently that is where he wants to take America.
Ain't happening bro.
Thank God he'll be gone soon.

Your entire post was a pleasure to read, but especially this part. Although Obama didn't do everything perfectly, he has done a very good job keeping us out of a major conflict. Listening to the Republican candidates, and want they are suggesting we do internationally is concerning. We are not going to be stomping around the world making demands, and trying to impose our will without receiving tremendous blowback. It is unrealistic to think that we will. The majority of American wouldn't want us to force ourselves like that anyway. Obama has done a good job keeping at bay the aggressive war monger aspect of the Republican party. He gets little credit for doing this, but I recognize and appreciate it.

Why did you provide the link? It was nonsense and written by a Marxist hack. That doesn't help your credibility Bob.
