Scalia was the beginning of the end for a reasonably fair, non-political Supreme Court. The Supreme Court justices have become nothing more than the strong-arm for whichever party they favor.

It would be interesting to see what happens... I think 6 months is the typical span for a Supreme Court justice which means it should be in play for the rest of the year... Obama has zero leverage right now.... Other than whining and race-baiting.... It would Obama's best interest to get someone in there... I wonder what he is going to offer... Taxes? I can't think of anything else... I wonder what is going to happen now with the current Supreme Court cases....
