my extremely liberal lesbian aunt who lives in texas with her "partner", why there I dont know disowned me a few years back because she can't stand the fact that I do not share her liberal views despite the fact I have never shoved mine down her throat but had to listen to her rants on face book all the time.
Anyway, that year she had a vote for Obama lawn sign that got vandalized and had the nerve to gripe about it saying that everyone should respect each others opinions without being ridiculed.
go figure. liberals don't value your opinion unless they agree with it.
Nope. Although, this is the first time I have ever had one in my yard, and it is still standing proudly. I kept thinking it would be gone, or burned, or something, being that it is a Bernie sign in one of the reddest counties in the country.
Funny story though...
In high school (This was 2004), I had a teacher who was a HUGE Kerry supporter. He was also an a**hat. Some friends and I went out one Friday night and stole as many Bush signs as we could get our hands on, with the sole purpose of putting them all in his yard. We ended up with about 45 of them if I remember correctly. He was seething when he came into class that Monday (Had him in 1st period), because he just knew it was someone in his class that did it. He griped about it for the entire week.
Yes, it was childish. Yes is was stupid. It seemed like a good idea at the time though!
I've never understood why people want to put signs in their yards announcing their political affiliation. What's the point. Besides, my yard is way too pretty to clutter it
I guess some people haven't discovered the internet, do they realize it's 2016? Do they really feel that will steer the election.
Creates so much clutter and fast to go up and slow to come down not to mention those being placed on public property where they don't belong.
Most of the signs are placed on the property of public employees.
Where is the "NO, I do not put campaign signs on my property!" choice?
Or the "NO, my HOA forbids such signs!" choice?
Or the "NO, I have so little traffic by my place that a sign would be a really dumb idea!" choice.
