I can't hink of anything more appetizing that a picture of a hanging. Did the other tables have pictures of car accidents, war scenes, and aborted fetuses?
It sat there for Ten years with untold thousands looking at it. Many of them non-Whities.
I suspect a large portion got a good laugh or even a small chuckle out of it including Blacks, Browns etc...
I bet those guys hanged never thought that in 2016 we'd be talking about them for being made an object having been plastered on a tabletop at a cheap family style seafood restaurant.
It may have been funny if it was from a known movie, of a white guy. Putting a real photo up of an execution though...what were they thinking? It is just shocking that many people were in on this and it never crossed any of their minds that it was offensive.

Maybe because the overwhelming percentage of people that viewed it aren't wimps.
Also why wouldn't it have been funny if it was from known movie, of a black or brown guy? Purely Rhetorical I already know your fatuous answer.
Exactly. If it had been a white guy (a lot more of who have been hung than blacks) it would just have been considered funny. From that picture, how the hell can you even tell what color the individuals being executed are?
Lighten up Francis.
No one reasonable would have considered a picture depicting an execution on a dining table of a family restaurant as funny.
I'm not even convinced that the color of the person matters at all. It was a stupid idea to begin with.
The restaurant responded appropriately once they discovered their mistake. It's a non-story at this point.
Awesome. Didn't know where to eat tomorrow, Joe's it is!
Yup. Got to hand it to Joe's. They handled it well when they learned of it by asking it to be removed. They probably didn't even know about the photo at corporate... but their response to ban the photo was appropriate for their restaurants.
