Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders Can't Figure Out How to Ride the Subway | Frontpage Mag

In fact, the media put forward a BS story that Bush Senior didn't recognize supermarket technology and used it to portray him as out of touch, but it was in fact fabricated.

Do you remember when George HW Bush was asked how much a gallon of milk cost and hadn't seen a grocery scanner and he couldn't answer? The reaction from the other side made you think he'd just sold the nuclear codes to Albania.

And he really wasn't trying to be "just one of us".

Ummm, as I noted in the original post... The NY Times falsely made up Bush being amazed at a super market. The NY Times distorted in an election year to give Bill a leg up.

What will the New York Times say about Hillary and the subway? That is the point of this thread.

You didn't read the original post in the thread you were responding to and you fell for false propaganda.

Yeah, I bet living on nearly $300,000 while all your expenses are essentially covered is a living hell.

Yes, it amazes me how many people buy into the BS lies about how they were struggling.

It is also important to note that adjusting for inflation, the Clinton's were making more than half a million a year before they got the White House.

Hillary was on the corporate board of directors at TCBY from 1985 to 1992, Walmart from 1986 to 1992, and Lafarge from 1990 to 1992. Yes, Hillary was on the board of directors of 3 different companies when she quit them all, because her Husband had won the presidency.

Walmart gave her $100,000 of stock while serving on their board and it is worth over a million dollars today and there are enough sheep out there that sincerely think she was struggling to get by before and after the White House.

Poor Hillary, she was nearly destitute while she served on the corporate board of directors for 3 companies and had enough stock options that she would never have to work again if she chose....she is just like the average person in Arkansas!

Two Ivy League graduates struggled to get by! There is a real danger in this. I had a student once, who was depressed that Michelle Obama talked about how they could hardly pay the bills as two ivy league educated people so how could he ever make it. I did some fact checking for the kid and the kid realized it was mostly political BS.

YOU were the one claiming that Hillary didn't know what it was like to struggle financially because she married a governor. YOUR link shows that in 1992, the governor didn't even make $35000. Or did you miss that little tidbit. When Bill was elected governor, they WERE struggling financially, and they continued to struggle financially the entire time they lived in Arkansas. While Hillary had to become the primary breadwinner to support them, because the governorship paid so poorly, their expenses weren't all covered at all. They got to live in a dilapidated governor's mansion. How do we know that, because Governor Huckabee preferred to live in a trailer while the mansion was being repaired. Some of Bill's travel expenses were covered. Some were not. They paid for their own clothes, for their own dry cleaning, and for much of their food.

Not who you were talking to, but you are coming off as a sheep.

Both Bill and Hillary had Law Degrees from YALE University. Have you ever met a couple who both had advanced degrees from an Ivy League school that was struggling to get by?

Adjusting for inflation their annual income was $500,000.00 a year per their tax returns that they publicly released. Plus Arkansas has a low cost of living if we adjust that for let's say Washington DC where you seem to be from - the Clinton's were making over $750,000 a year in DC cost of living money. Hillary was on the board of directors of 3 companies - including Walmart that gave her over $100,000 in free stock (today worth over a million).

If they were struggling...than at least 99.5% of Americans are struggling today.

Let's cut the BS.
