Rob Marcus worked for Time Warner Cable for about two years and gets $92 million in severance when the company is sold. Time Warner Cable was bought out by another company recently.

Seriously, I wonder why citizens aren't out in the streets with pitchforks.

Why should any citizen be out in the streets over this?

I can understand why stockholders would be, but why would it matter to anybody who doesn't own the stock?

Because he did nothing to earn $92 million in severance except be the last one sitting in the executive chair at Time Warner Cable when they were bought, perhaps?

The workers at TWC may earn a pink slip after this merger.

Selective moralism is a tangled web.

And I still don't know why I'm supposed to be outraged.
