Why should any citizen be out in the streets over this?
I can understand why stockholders would be, but why would it matter to anybody who doesn't own the stock?
Because he did nothing to earn $92 million in severance except be the last one sitting in the executive chair at Time Warner Cable when they were bought, perhaps?
The workers at TWC may earn a pink slip after this merger.
If someone else getting 92 million dollars doesn't affect me, I can't get outraged.
