G.W. Bush more than anyone else created Trump, with his blind eye to illegal immigration and his nation building wars. Had he stongly enforced immigration law and limited the 9/11 response to punishing Afganistan and pursuing al Qaeda, Republicans would not be nominating a complete political outsider today.

All good points. Politics is about compromise and Republicans sold themselves on absolutism, so gridlock is the result. Gridlock makes for angry voters, ergo, Trump.

It is Obama and really the Progressives of the Dem Party that left a huge void that Trump filled. Trump was wining Republican primaries but getting a huge crossover Dem voters and independents...but he did manage to get some traditional Repub voters that were tired of PC Repubs.

Fascinating those who continue to support status quo bought and paid for politicians who owe everything to the "donor class" while fooling the weak minded that they actually care.

Obama's race hucksterism days are just about over. He will go down in as a footnote in the American history books as the first Mulatto president. There is nothing else to note about him.

The problem is that during any given political cycle only 2.2% of all Americans contribute any money at all to a political organization or candidate.

95% of these donors are irrelevant because only 0.1% of Americans contribute more than $2,500.

Those donors who contribute more than $2,500 (and it`s usually a lot more) account for two-thirds of all money raised.

In order to put together enough money to run a successful campaign, politicians have no alternative to going on the payroll of the 0.1%.

This is why Republicans always make tax breaks for billionaires such a high priority and why Democrats talk about increasing taxes on the uber-rich but they never do.

They are on the fat cat`s payroll as well.

This is why Bernie cannot be allowed to win and why Trump had to run against the entire Republican field and may still get shafted at the convention.

The voter backlash seen in both party`s primary races is the result of the system being rigged for the wealthy.

OP this is nothing but BS propaganda lies. Obama lied to get elected by hiding his communist real agenda and hatred to all things white even though Berry is half white to our shame, and now is pushing to destroy the nation to rebuild it. He never did say destroy but he did say he wanted to rebuild the nation. You do not rebuild without destroying what was first. Sorry but the black hate for all thing white is apparent in your post. It seems your a racist.

I listened to the video and did not hear one time his claim that bigotry towards him created Trump. I heard that it was because the Republicans had an agenda to oppose everything he did. We know, of course, that is not true, since they have let him get away with most everything, and that is why someone like Trump has gotten traction.

Another racist thread fail.

Obama was the catalyst or spark, but my guess is most Trump people are voting for Trump with the GOP more in mind than Obama.
