Because it would be HERS.

See the difference.

You just want to keep talking over the point Frank is making.

It isn't complicated.
And how exactly is a bartender going to be able to tell that a woman is pregnant? Especially since most women don't start showing until later in the pregnancy?

As you said, it isn't complicated.

The customer owns the liquor when it is purchased. Seeing that it isn't until later in the pregnancy that a woman is showing, there is no way for a bartender to know if a woman is pregnant or not, besides it isn't the bartender's responsibility to judge their patrons.

The same goes for why I don't think a bartender should be held accountable if a drunk patron goes out and gets into a car accident. It isn't the bartender's responsibility to monitor what you do and don't drink.

And here I thought you were a small government libertarian, guess I am wrong.

The bartender/bar owner owns the liquor, the preganant woman owns nothing until they sell it to her, but nice try at twisting logic in a knot.
You've been wrong on everything except your last sentence.

Yes. I trust bartenders more than politicians.

You seemed to skip over the part about how the bartender is going to screen women to see if they are pregnant? Do you have a big government solution for that?

Should bartenders not allow people to buy more than two drinks too seeing they should also be regulating how much people drink? You big government guys are all the same.

If a bartender encounters a visibly pregnant woman who asks for an alcoholic beverage, s/he should be able to decline service to the woman, using independent judgement and discretion. It's common sense.

But not in progressive, leftist, Big Government, law for everything PC, social engineering New York City. Which wants to bring the hammer down on critical thought and the individual.

What if that visibly pregnant woman is just fat? Should she have to take a peek test to prove it? What about pregnant women who aren't visibly pregnant, how will a bartender enforce that? Also, why should a bartender be required to enforce that? It isn't their responsibility to enforce things like this.

I see in your big government rightist world that forces people to obey unenforceable laws is good as long as it is big government right wingers and libertarians approve of. I wonder what other big government things you support.....

Dear God, it's not that difficult:

I own a bar. You walk in, you are pregnant/fat in all the most unfortunate places. Every single drink in that bar? Is mine. It's not yours. You have ZERO right to a single thing in that bar, because it's mine. I paid for it. You may ASK for some of it, offering me money in exchange, but at no time do I HAVE to give you ANYTHING in the bar that I own. If I think, even THINK that you are pregnant, I don't HAVE to give you diddly squat. I don't even have to give you a reason. I reserve the right to refuse service to you.

Tough cookies if you don't like it. And no, you may not have a cookie, either.

THERE IS NO LAW, THAT'S THE POINT. It's not "an unenforceable law" because THERE IS NO LAW. It's the very simple fact that every. last. thing. in. that. bar. belongs. to. ME, NOT you!

Liberals say you can kill unborn babies. Why are they upset over the method?

False, you are a business to the public, denying people because you think they are pregnant is gonna get you hit with a lawsuit.

You claim there is no law, but you are basically asking for a big government law that will make it so a bar can deny people under the speculation that they might be pregnant.

Sorry it doesn't work that way, a bartender is not in the business to decide if women are pregnant or not. This would law would be unenforceable. Heck, I am often times the one buying the alcohol at the bar when I am out with my wife. What if a man goes to the bar, orders two drinks, and gives one to his wife. Should the bartender demand to see the wife to see if she might look pregnant? That is nonsense and not the bartender's business.

It isn't the bartender's business if a woman is pregnant.

Sorry, but I don't agree with your big government ideals.
