Imagine a publicly sanctioned fight between a man and woman that lasted under two minutes and the female received a concussion, a broken orbital socket and required seven staples in her head.
Hardly sounds fair, right?
Well the "man" in question is a transgender who now identifies as a female and fights other females in the MMA.
What a wonderful, progressive, inclusive, tolerant society we've become, huh?
Someone who was born a man and has the bone structure, strength and aggression of a man can compete against women and cause the damage that this poor woman received just so we can all be politically correct.
So I guess the dilemma is for those who think transgenders can do whatever they feel like just because they FEEL like a man or a woman. Do you support this? How can you not? If she really IS a woman now in your mind, I guess you'd have to.
This is an example where reality meets conjecture and it's not pretty.
I'm really not sure how this is a moral issue.
Both fighters are voluntary members of a private organization, right? They both fight for money, right? They are both legal adults, right? They both know they are involved in a sport which can result in serious injury, right? They aren't forced to fight, right?
Now if they didn't have any choice as to who to fight, you'd have a point. Otherwise...
I don't see how this applies to people not involved in professional sports. The MMA is a private organization and they can schedule fights between whatever combatants they want if the rules allow.
What was the point of bringing this up?

True conservatives apparently believe that people should be stuck with whatever sex organs they were equipped with at birth. If god meant it that way that is the way it is. Some of us believe a person should be able to use technology to achieve happiness. To some happiness is endless wealth. To others it is obtaining to proper plumbing needed to suit their psychology.
